What this site is. siteb.biz is an independent directory of free online tools. We publish tools we built, we list independent projects run by other people, and we write guides. We are not a software vendor, not a marketplace and not a service provider, and nothing here is sold.

The tools are information, not advice. The converters, counters, generators and calculators on this site produce results for everyday convenience. They are not financial, legal, medical or engineering advice, and a result here should not be the only basis for a decision that matters. Unit conversions use exact international definitions and date arithmetic respects real calendars, but the meaning of a number in your particular contract, prescription or specification is defined by that document and not by us.

Listed projects are not ours. Each subdomain project in the directory is run by an independent person or team. We check that a project is free, works without a login and does not upload data it could process locally before listing it, and we recheck periodically — but we do not operate them, we do not supervise them, we take no commission from them and we cannot be liable for what they do. If a listed project stops meeting our criteria, tell us and we will look at it.

Passwords. The password generator uses your browser's cryptographic random number generator and produces the password on your device. We never see it, which also means we can never recover it. Store it in a password manager before you close the tab.

Accuracy. We write our guides carefully and review them on a schedule, and every guide carries the date of its last review. Standards change and definitions get revised. If you find something out of date or wrong, write to contactmail.bsam@gmail.com and we will correct it.

Content. The text, tools and images on this site are ours. You are welcome to quote from a guide with a link back to it. Republishing whole guides, or scraping the site to train a model on it commercially, is not permitted without asking first.

Governing terms. These terms are provided in twelve languages for convenience. Where a translation and the English version differ, the English version is the one that applies.
